Nearly twenty years ago, a senior British Army Officer was posted to Argentina to train with the Argentine government and military. During his time here, he fell in love with the country and its people. Together with a dear Argentine colleague, he discovered an idyllic location in the province of Buenos Aires, leading to the creation of Estancia San Mateo. Through passion and dedication, the Estancia has evolved to feature stables, shooting ranges, bespoke accommodations, and polo pitches. We look forward to welcoming you – our home is your home.
